By this plugin’s very nature, setup is a little more involved than other plugins. However, the WP Robot team has done a good job of making the interface user friendly and included video tutorials on topics ranging from the initial setup of this WordPress autoblog plugin to customizing advanced posting features. In addition to the videos, you’ll also have unlimited access to the WP Robot Support Forums in which you can get specialized help for any problems you may encounter in setting up or using WP Robot.

One of the only features I found missing in Wishlist Member is the ability to easily drip feed content to various membership levels. You can drip feed content to members by clever use of the sequential upgrade feature and “graduating” members to new content periodically. This, however, can be quite a hassle if you’re trying to drip feed different content segments to different subscription levels. Other than that, this WordPress membership plugin is certainly feature rich. It contains far too many individual features to list them all and the Wishlist team is still releasing improvements to this WordPress membership plugin as well.

Performance:

This WordPress membership plugin is an extremely polished product. The membership controls, redirects, content protection, and integration have all been tested extensively by the Wishlist Team and worked flawlessly on my test site. I was unable to produce any bugs or issues while configuring and testing the features of this plugin. While there is a learning curve to reaching certain customization levels, the power and performance of this wordpress membership plugin are exactly what you would expect from a premium wordpress plugin product.

Conclusion:

Really impressed with this WordPress membership plugin. Going through the extensive tutorial database, the refined Wishlist Member dashboard, and all the other areas of Wishlist Member, it’s easy to see that the Wishlist Team really stands behind this product and have went to great lengths to try and deliver a quality product with quality support. If you’re looking to add membership capabilities to a new or existing site, I have little doubt that Wishlist Member can meet the needs of your project. This feature rich and openly customizable plugin can help even the most unique membership models come to fruition.

Digi Social Squeeze Review

Plugin Setup & Configuration:

I was very please with the setup of this wordpress facebook connect plugin. After uploading the Digi Social Squeeze .zip file through my WordPress plugins dashboard, I activated the plugin. You are presented with an alert which tells you to head over to the Digi Social Squeeze Settings page to configure the plugin. I opened the instruction manual link that is found on this page and went to work. I was pleased to see that the instruction manual was short and concise.

You need to set up a simple Facebook App to configure this plugin. The directions in the Digi Social Squeeze manual guided me through this process in less than 5 minutes. It was very simple and straight forward. The Digi Social Squeeze team also wants to ensure you are protected, and can automatically create a Privacy Policy page for you. This privacy policy page is a cookie cutter policy that can easily be edited at any time. With that done, the plugin was ready to go and it was time to see what it can do.

Features:

A great feature of this wordpress facebook connect plugin is that is comes preloaded with 6 ready made templates. 3 video templates and 3 standard templates. Once they hit the “Go To App” button, they are signed up to your list and redirected to the “Thank You” page specified by your auto-responder service. If your list is confirmed opt-in, it will redirect them to the page you have specified in your email auto-responder and they will be sent the confirmation email. Digi Auto Links Review

Plugin Setup & Configuration:

The setup of this wordpress backlink plugin is an extensive process. However, after uploading the .zip file through your WordPress plugin dashboard, following the step-by-step instruction manual should have you set up with little difficulty. I also found it helpful that the instruction manual goes into some detail explaining what a pingback is. Here are a few screenshots of the setup process:

The instructions will guide you through the installation of the wordpress backlink plugin and then take you through each area of the setup process to get your Digi Auto Links set up correctly.

Performance:

As instructed by the manual, I configured Digi Auto Links to the desired specifications on my test blog. Nothing left now but to put up a test post and test it out for myself. I filled out a test blog post for this purpose and in the post dashboard selected to have this wordpress backlink plugin do it’s work automatically. Upon publishing, Digi Auto Links went to work.

Digi Auto Links Auto-Scan:

The scanner never seemed to make it past this step regardless of me waiting an hour or more. I assume it is due to scanning the networks for blogs relating to the specified tags. This would make sense due to the 15 minute cron job you are required to set up to force auto restarts if the plugin stalls.

I also used the option in Digi Auto Links which will do the tag and ping process for all previous posts on your blog as well. With all this completed, I followed the instruction manual which directed me toward the pingback list page.

The blue number represents approved pingbacks. The green number represents pings sent out. The red number represents pingbacks denied. I found this area of the plugin very useful as I can see what Digi Auto Links is actually doing and where it is posting these pingbacks to. You can click on the [+] icon next to each post to get detailed information about your pingbacks. I followed the information in this dashboard to see what was being posted by Digi Auto Links and here is what I found:

While this may just look like gibberish, I figured out that it’s basically a text view of the “Related Links” box that Digi Auto Links adds to each of your posts for the pingbacks. Now, I’m not sure if there is further customization that I’m just not seeing to change this, but I don’t think other site owners will be pleased if I spam their blogs with comments like these.

Conclusion:

So basically, what this wordpress backlink plugin seems to do is adds tags to each one of your posts, followed by searching the net for related blogs to post on, attempts to post to the blog, then sends the ping request. Similar to the old school link exchanges.

While Digi Auto Links does exactly as advertised, I’m not sure I can find a way to use the automation correctly with output like the one shown above. However, running the wordpress backlink plugin in semi-automatic or manual mode still has value, as it does a good job of hunting the ‘net for you, to find relevant blogs to post on for backlinks. I fear this may be a wordpres backlink plugin that I simply haven’t built enough experience with to use to it’s full potential. This leads me to believe that, while good, the instruction manual could be more in-depth. You’ll have to decide for yourself on this one.

Digi Traffic Multiplier Review

Plugin Setup & Configuration:

Initial installation of this wordpress autoblog plugin is the same as most plugins. Simply upload the .zip file through the WordPress plugin dashboard and activate the plugin. However, before you can utilize Digi Traffic Multiplier, you must configure the plugin.

This process is a little more complex than most plug-and-play type plugins available. First, you need to register for a Yahoo! API key (free). Then, you’ll need to set up a cron job on your host server for the plugin to function automatically. While this will sound like a daunting task to the less technically inclined, lucky for us, Digi Traffic Multiplier includes a 1m46s video tutorial on how to set up the cron job correctly. I followed along with the video, pausing it while applying the instructions, and had no problems setting the cron job. Once this is done, you then head back to your WordPress dashboard to configure the plugin itself. Here is a view of the plugin options and configuration page:

With all that setup, Digi Traffic Multiplier will now automatically post a new post relating to your keywords with the Q&A content for the time you have specified. You can also use a button in the options menu to force this wordpress autoblog plugin to create a post. Here is what the Digi Traffic Multiplier created posts will look like:

This format continues throughout the post for however many questions you specified Digi Traffic Multiplier to meet in the settings page.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to make Digi Traffic Multiplier create custom titles for new posts. So, each post came up with the same name, even though the post content was different from each previous post. The one thing to notice is that throughout the post, your specified keyword is met and found sprinkled all throughout the questions and answers in bolded text. Similar wordpress autoblog plugins that I have seen in the past would just grab random garbage and post it to your blog, but all the content I’m seeing pulled seems to be relevant and targeted to the pre-seeded keywords I specified. I’m unable to verify the quote in the manual and from the sales page that states:

Digi Traffic Multiplier is a ‘smart’ wordpress autoblog plugin in that it identifies the keywords
that are driving targeted visitors to your site from the search engines.

The test blog which I installed this wordpress autoblog plugin on receives no traffic (for obvious reasons), so this feature of the plugin I will not be able to verify. Having experience with Digi products myself, I don’t believe they would state something that isn’t true, so I’d believe this plugin will create posts based on your incoming keyword phrases in addition to the pre-seeded phrases.

Customization:

The output of the Digi Traffic Multiplier is not customizable through the interface. You can use your own admin image, but using different images for the “question askers” has to be done by hand. Meaning, you must create and upload the individual images to the Digi Traffic Multiplier graphics folder on your server and replace the ones you want to replace.

Conclusion:

This is a very neat little wordpress autoblog plugin. While on its own it may not be able to sustain a successful wordpress site, I can easily see the potential for additional traffic and reputation building. This type of wordpress autoblog plugin would be great for sites who would like to simulate an active FAQ (frequently asked questions) page related to their site and simply set Digi Traffic Multiplier to post all generated content under that category to give your viewers additional information to browse through. With a little creativity, the full power of this plugin can be realized. I feel it is yet another very useful plugin product from Digi.

Plugin Setup & Configuration:

Setting up Digi List Builder is a breeze. Like most WordPress plugins, you simply upload the zip file through your WordPress admin and activate the plugin and you are ready to start configuring the plugin to your site and email auto-responder service. Using simple cut-and-paste, Digi List Builder automatically configures itself to your auto-responder service and will generate the default opt-in boxes instantly. Using the default design and following the Digi List Builder Instruction Manual, I was able to set this plugin up on my test site and have it ready for use in a little under 10 minutes. I honestly couldn’t get this to work on my test site. I’m not quite sure what the problem was but the custom message was not popping up and all I was getting was the standard browser exit message, “The page is asking if you want to leave – are you sure?”, and then getting redirected to my chosen URL regardless of picking “Leave” or “Stay on page”.

Conclusion:
Overall, I find this to be a very powerful little plugin. It’s easy to use and very easy to setup. While I think the customization features could be better, the ability to do some great customizations are still in place. The exit popup feature not working was also a reason the overall rating of the product was brought down. With everything else working flawlessly within this plugin, it is a shame that this one feature seemed to come up short.

Being able to instantly increase my newsletter opt-ins right out of the box is what I really love about this plugin. Having it up and running and ready to collect emails, with all the new forms enabled, in a matter of minutes, really makes this plugin worth the price. Even sites with minimal traffic could see some very aggressive opt-in rate increases utilizing Digi List Builder. So, if you’re serious about building your email list or newsletter following, this WordPress plugin is a must have.
